I remember being teased as a kid because I cried a lot ... a whole lot. I was often referred to as a cry baby. Some people grow out of being a cry baby. I never really grew out of it. There are numerous triggers for my waterworks. A song, a movie, a prayer, a touching quote, a book or favorite bible verse, and most often, any eruption of emotion, happy, mad, or sad, often results in tears.
I will never forget the day my husband told me that he did not understand crying. I was baffled. How can you not understand crying?? Crying is frustration, sadness, anger, depression, happiness, devotion, and a release. Crying is many different things to different people, and yes, maybe because of all the possible reasons that people may cry, I guess it can be confusing to interpret for a mere mortal like you and I. But your tears will never be confusing to God. God is a healer, not only of sickness and death, but he is a healer of hearts. In order for God to heal your heart, He must know your heart. God knows your heart. He hears you and He understands your tears.
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles."
I love you, BUT God loves you MORE!
